Driving Policy :
The Guelph Giants Special Hockey Foundation Board of Directors has conducted a risk management assessment prior to the conclusion of the fiscal year surrounding present transportation policies. In consultation with other minor sport groups and SHI teams it was determined that for proper mitigation of risk, no members of the coaching staff are permitted to transport athletes under any circumstance. The primary reason for this policy is the lack of insurance coverage available if an automobile accident should occur. All athletes and their parents or guardians are to ensure proper transportation to and from all games, team functions, and tournaments at all times. We appreciate your co-operation with this policy.
